Bantu's Ridgeback

Having three basenjis to show and lure course wasn't enough of a challenge for
Shelby.... she wanted a Ridgeback! We were fortunate enough to find Northwest
breeders Joe & Jennie Piott that were looking to place a nice boy in a show home.

Welcome Jester to our pack! This boy is a beauty and a total spaz. (Hence the
nicknames "Jestard" and "Pester"!) Shelby has been working with him at handling
class and he appears to be a natural. Watch for this pair to hit the show and Juniors
ring come December. We're a ways off from lure coursing him since he's just a
pup, but he's been out watching the Basenjis and other hounds run and definitely
has the instinct and desire to chase that bunny! (Just like momma Rosie...)
Jester earned his JC title July 2008 at the WVBC trial.
