Rhodesian Ridgebacks
A few years back, Shelby decided that the Basenjis weren't enough... she wanted to
add a Rhodesian Ridgeback to our pack! So along came Jester.
Jester is a very sweet boy and a total dork. (Hence the nicknames "Jestard" and
"Pester"!) Unfortunately, his show days are over after having an ear hematoma that
resulted in a deformed ear; but he is working at his lure coursing skills and will
probably try Rally or Agility with Shelby in the future while enjoying country life.
Then came Ohana... boy is this girl a handful! Far from being the quiet demeanor
like Jester, Ohana always keeps us on our toes - or steps on our toes! She has
both majors and needs one single point to complete her AKC Championship.
Sometimes we wonder if it will ever come! Ohana will start lure coursing soon as
well, and boy does she looooove to run! Now if she'd just stay on course...
